Cockatoo - Hefty

Pet cockatoos are often referred to as “velcro” birds because of their highly sociable nature and borderline obsessive need to be around the people in their lives. I'm really beginning to see myself in every one of these descriptions.

This is a super pale sandy pink tonal with speckles of blue, red, and gold.

All of my yarn is ethically sourced from Argentina and Uruguay (no mulesing allowed!) and hand-dyed in small batches with professional acid dyes and fully exhausted before being removed. Each hank is unique and can vary, but if you order more than one skein, I will do my best to match them for you.

Care Instructions
I dye my yarns with acid dyes and thoroughly rinse each skein before drying with Soak Wool Wash, but slight bleeding upon the first wash is a possibility. Although this yarn is machine washable, it is highly recommended that all items be hand washed in cool water with gentle detergent and laid flat to dry.
